In 2023, the University of Johannesburg Choir, under the leadership of Renette Bouwer, performed an English translation and reworking of A Mass for the Universe at the Linder Auditorium in Johannesburg, South Africa. The performance, met with critical acclaim, led to the creation of a live performance album.
